"THIRD PARTY DAY" AT THE RAVEN THEATER - August 22nd

Join your local Green Party and representatives from the Libertarian and
Peace and Freedom Parties for:

       "Anybody But Bush and Kerry!"
Third Party Alternatives for 2004 and Beyond

5:00 pm at The Raven Theater and Film Center,
       115 North Street, Healdsburg

Only 54 of California?s eligible voters are Democrats or Republicans--find
out why more Californians every year abandon the major parties.

This is an educational event exploring alternatives to the present rhetoric
on topics such as military aggression toward and occupation of other nations,
personal rights and civil liberties, the Patriot Act, and most importantly
how you can get involved in taking back our government.

Featuring:

      * Peter Camejo, Vice Presidential Candidate for 2004 and a
        visionary in socially responsible government

      * Judge Jim Gray, Superior Court Judge, candidate for US
Senate in 2004 and author of "Why Our Drug Laws Have
Failed and What We Can Do About It."

      * Marsha Feinland, California Peace and Freedom Party
chair and candidate for US Senate

      * Richard Winger, publisher of "Ballot Access News," a
publication that focuses on the struggle of alternative
party candidates to get on the ballot.

The event will also include speeches by local third party candidates for
state and local government and representatives from a variety of local
educational and activist groups.

Come participate in your government and see why people across the state
and nation are turning their eyes to alternatives for the future.

WHY I AM NO LONGER A DEMOCRAT by Gregory Wonderwheel

July 17, 2004

There comes a time in an abusive relationship when it is no longer possible
to continue. I have reached that time with the Democratic Party. Today I
unregistered from the Democratic Party and registered in the Green Party...

I'm now convinced that the Democratic Party cannot be redeemed from within.
By selecting John Kerry as its presidential candidate the Democratic Party
is clearly and irretrievably in the hands of Corporatists who do not have
any viable or even coherent economic agenda for working people. I still
like and love my Democratic friends, but this single fact should be enough
for any reasonable person in the USA to leave the Democratic Party...
